A Self Declaration of Minority Community Certificate is the document required for an individual to self-attest. It is about claiming that the individual belongs to one of the minority communities that the Indian government recognizes. The minority community that the government of India recognizes are Buddhists, Muslims, Jains, Zoroastrians, and Christians under section 2(C) of the National Commission for Minorities Act (1992).

  • After downloading the certificate, the applicant needs to fill up their personal details as per the requirement. The applicant means you need to provide family details and residential address as well as the exact community they belong to; other information, such as the date and location related to the declaration form, when and where it was made, etc.
  • Apart from that, the applicant needs to also provide supporting documentation, a community certificate, and a copy of their ID evidence.
